Built in collaboration with Mediclinic Middle East’s sister platform in Switzerland, Hirslanden, Comprehensive Cancer Centre is the first centre of its kind in Dubai to combine diagnostic procedures with the treatment modalities of surgery, medical oncology and radiation therapy. Job Requirements Basic Medical Degree and certification of higher professional education in Palliative Medicine recognised by the Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCA): CCT in Palliative care, or American Board Certification or an equivalent. Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience since gaining higher qualification. Three (3) years consultant experience in a Western hospital setting preferred. Appropriate experience and competence in all aspects of Palliative care medicine. A minimum of two (2) publications in peer reviewed journals (Medline or Pubmed) would be an advantage Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, doctors and other hospital staff. Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education.
