Job Description: As leader of Centre of Excellence, he/she will be responsible for delivering the strategy around maturity, adoption, and delivery of concepts & products in emerging technologies like AI/ML, IoT, Chat & Voice Bots, Blockchain, and Cloud Computing to bridge the technology gaps and to make business processes future ready. Produces outline system designs and specifications, and overall architectures, topologies and configuration databases. Lead Center of Excellence (for Architecture & Innovation) initiatives to drive the operational excellence in the organization Contributes to the development of the IT Strategy by providing technical inputs Analyses new opportunities and work with business to build innovative technology solutions. Researches new and leading technologies and business trends, and makes strategic recommendations that achieve greater worker/process productivity and improved program benefits delivery. Build, scale, and manage the COE for Innovation and Architecture along with team of business analysis, project managers, and engineers from partners Contributes to the technical road map by selecting appropriate technologies, design standards, methods and tools, consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures and ensures they are applied effectively Work with technology providers within the airline industry and in the advanced technology space generally to evaluate and select appropriate solutions with ROI and repeatability as key criteria. Specifies user/system interfaces, and translates logical designs into physical designs taking account of target environment, performance requirements and existing systems. Maintains and applies up to date, specialist knowledge of database concepts, object and data modelling techniques and design principles, and a detailed knowledge of the full range of database architectures and, software available.
