Job Description: Support the BT Security organisation by operating internal and customer networks, platforms and systems in support of ourselves and special customers. Deliver and operate these services within agreed performance standards and contractual agreements whilst operating within agreed timescales and budgets. Additionally, provide input into Service Design and Service Transitions using skillsets where applicable. Job Responsibilities: Profitability - Deliver and operate within service budgets (manpower, materials and circuits) and work tirelessly to deliver highly efficient services which meet our customer needs and maintain a highly utilised team Working within Service Operations to ensure that budgets are built year on year based on understanding improvements and forecasting business expectations. Working in a team as part of an out of hours on call rota. Improving customer experience – By delivering repair, provision and service availability performance, continually improving and supporting the delivery of great Net Promoter Score outcomes Job Requirements: Qualification & Experience: Strong understanding of Windows Server Infrastructure, specifically around Windows Server 2012 R2 Managerial Experience within the IT Industry Proven track record of deployment in secure environments. VMware vSphere expertise, deployment and troubleshooting knowledge Preferably currently hold Developed Vetting STRAP clearance (or have the ability to gain it as a minimum) Proven track record of group policy and permissions management. Strong working experience on Microsoft Exchange Server desirable. Should be able to demonstrate solid proficiency in Network infrastructure and Storage Solutions Knowledge of UNIX/Linux technologies/software in a similar role VMware VCP or Microsoft MCSA up-to-date certification required Experience of leading IT project teams during complex deliveries Advanced experience of Active Directory and Active Directory Services.
